Chennai: Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) founder and actor-turned-politician Vijay is set to resume his political campaign with a closed-door interaction on Sunday in Kanchipuram district.

The indoor meeting, scheduled at a private educational institution in Sunguvarchattiram, will see participation from a carefully selected group of party cadre and supporters from three taluks of the district.

Around 1,500 attendees have been issued passes, and only those with entry passes will be allowed inside, party sources said.

Party workers, dressed in bright yellow T-shirts and caps, have been trained by retired police officials to manage the crowd and ensure smooth conduct of the event.

This will be Vijay’s first public address in nearly two months. Last month, he had met the families of Karur
