BBC Breakfast was paused for an update regarding the forthcoming budget during Sunday morning's programme (November 23).

Chancellor Rachel Reeves is set to present the highly-anticipated Autumn Budget on Wednesday, which may include manifesto-breaking tax rises.

The Chancellor has previously promised that the new budget will "deliver on the priorities of the British people" by cutting NHS waiting lists, the national debt and the cost of living.
