Washington's draft peace plan for Ukraine is set to be discussed by top US and Ukrainian officials and national security advisers from European countries.
US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Secretary of State Marco Rubio were due to arrive in Geneva, Switzerland on Sunday (local time) for talks on ending the conflict, which is now in its fourth year.
It comes after US President Donald Trump on Thursday said Kyiv had one week to accept Washington's 28-point peace proposal, which calls on Ukraine to cede territory, accept limits on its military and renounce ambitions to join NATO.
"We hope to iron out the final details ... to draft a deal that is advantageous to them (Ukraine)," a US official said.
