Hyderabad: A 40-year-old woman died after receiving severe injuries in a cooking gas cylinder blast at her residence in Madhuranagar in the city on Sunday.

According to the information available, gas from the cooking cylinder leaked, resulting in a blast on the first floor of a residential building in Madhuranagar of Ameerpet . Sonu Bai was severely injured in the incident and later succumbed to the injuries. Sonu Bai’s parents, Gopal Singh and Lalitha Bai, escaped the blast with minor injuries and received medical attention.
