The Los Angeles Rams are looking to perfect the script in 2025.

They fell short a season ago, losing in the divisional round to the eventual champion, Philadelphia Eagles. Now Matthew Stafford, Sean McVay and the Rams are on a quest to get back to the top. On Sunday night, one of those challengers stands in their way – the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Baker Mayfield's squad might be battered and bruised, but don't tell him that. Forever an underdog, the Bucs' signal caller is hoping to end a slide that has seen them drop two straight and three of the last four.

Mayfield's edge has helped him enter the MVP race, even if that has faded in recent weeks. His opposite number on Sunday night, however, is staking his claim to the award that once felt ticketed for Mayfield.

Stafford has found the fountain of youth in his 17th season, leading the Rams into a tie for the top seed in the NFC through 11 weeks.

The final month of the regular season is just around the corner and someone will make a big statement on Sunday night under the lights.
