JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – As Jim Hale strummed his guitar Saturday on Roxbury's stone bandshell, canned vegetables, soup and snacks were piling up under a nearby tent.
The We Bring Worship musician was among seven performers for Feed the Valley's first-ever benefit concert. And for event organizer Caleb Miller, the encore was a check totaling more than $1,000 and nearly 500 grocery items he presented to St. Vincent de Paul Society and its Cambria County food pantries. ×
