Tina Hutcherson, a bus driver in Oklahoma, is making it her mission to keep her students warm with handmade gifts.
"I just don’t want nobody to be without, especially when they're riding with me," Hutcherson told sister station KOCO .
In the midst of cold mornings and hurried drop-offs, Hutcherson takes the time to ensure every student is cared for.
"About 30 minutes to make a hat," she said. "I said, oh, I'm gonna make every one of them babies on the bus a hat."
Hutcherson's knitting began as a hobby but has transformed into a passion project for her students. Her dedication extends beyond the bus stop to her crafting table.
"OK, let's get on this, come on the bus," she said. "Here, I'mma put my little babies' hats up here."
Hutcherson is more than just the first face the kids see
