An unwanted dog that spent nearly 300 days waiting for a home . Brody, a five-year-old pit bull cross , was found shivering outside a public library in the middle of winter, having been abandoned by his previous owners.

Cold, frightened, and alone, the poor pooch was taken to a local facility in Kansas, US. Heartbreakingly, this is where many dogs wait months, and sometimes years, for adoption because of low visiting numbers.
