Republican lawmakers ignore the will of the people
Despite the constitutional amendment approved by 57% of Ohio voters in 2023, OhioRepublican lawmakers have introduced four bills to regulate abortion and reproductive healthcare.
The bills touch on “fetal personhood,” abortion medication prescribed through telehealth, information required to be shared by physicians when discussing chemical abortion and a ban on Medicaid funds going to facilities that provide abortion.
