An Indian-origin man convicted of armed robbery and other offences has been arrested in Toronto. Nicholas Singh, who had been on the run for 18 months, was reportedly on Canada's "most wanted list. " Singh, 23, a federal offender who went “unlawfully at large” on May 31, 2024, was the focus of an OPP appeal in August, when police said he was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breaching his statutory release. According to an OPP statement issued Saturday, Singh is currently serving a five-year, five-month and 10-day sentence, as cited by the Toronto Sun.
