HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - An investigation is underway following a shooting in Hartford on Saturday night.

At around 11:38 p.m. first responders were called to the area of Greenwich Street after a report of a ShotSpotter notification, the police department said.

When crews arrived, they found evidence of gunfire at the scene.

As officers were investigating, they were notified of a woman in her 20s who was suffering from a gunshot, had walked in to a local hospital.

Officials confirmed she is in stable condition.

This incident remains under investigation.

No further details were released.
