Four people have been charged with murder weeks after a man was allegedly stabbed to death.

Investigations into the alleged murder of 43-year-old Gordon Kessey were launched after he was found with stab wounds in a park on East St in Bega, southern NSW , about 2am on October 6.

Kessey died at the scene while another man, aged 45, was found to have also suffered stab wounds but survived after being rushed to hospital.

More than six weeks later, police arrested four people during three simultaneous search warrants in Bega and nearby Bemboka about 7.30am on Thursday and charged over the alleged incident.
