Scattered rain showers are expected in Massachusetts on Sunday, with a chance of snow mixing in across higher elevation areas.
It will be a chilly November day as temperatures will be around the upper 30s to lower 40s with some southwest winds around five to 10 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
In areas north and west of Worcester, snow may mix with rain. The northern Berkshires have the best chance to see all snow precipitation, but significant accumulation anywhere in the state is unlikely.
Rain amounts are expected to be light, with most areas receiving only a couple of hundredths of an inch, according to forecasters.
The scattered showers are expected to begin in the afternoon and continue into the early evening before moving offshore by midnight.
