MUMBAI: The Indian cricket team for the ODI series against South Africa was announced on Sunday. Senior players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli returned to the team, while a new captain was announced to replace the injured Shubman Gill. Senior player KL Rahul will lead India in the three-match series and was announced as the captain. The replacement comes due to the injury suffered by Captain Gill during the first Test against South Africa. Vice-captain Shreyas Iyer was also out of contention after suffering a serious injury during the Australia tour.
