BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The refreshing, cooler air is back today, but only briefly. A stronger cold front arrives Tuesday, bringing good rain chances and another cool-down just in time for Thanksgiving.
TODAY’S FORECAST
After yesterday’s cold front, temperatures started much cooler this morning, making for a pleasant day. Afternoon highs are expected to reach the mid to upper 70s under mainly sunny skies.
COOLER FOR THANKSGIVING
Today’s cooler air will be short-lived as temperatures rebound into the low 80s to start the workweek. As the next storm system approaches, winds shift back out of the south, allowing warmer and more humid air to return.
Once the stronger cold front passes, a sharper cool-down arrives for Thanksgiving, with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 60s and morning
