Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge Sunday attempted to bring an end to the debate around power-sharing and possible Cabinet reshuffle in Karnataka, saying that the party high command would take a call on these issues.

In a brief media statement issued outside his Bengaluru residence, Kharge said, “I have nothing to say now (about the issues)… Whatever it is, high command will take a call.”

Kharge, who recently underwent a medical procedure, has been at his Bengaluru residence for the past few days, prompting visits from top Congress leaders and ministers in Chief Minister Siddaramaiah ’s Cabinet. Siddaramaiah himself met Kharge on Saturday evening, with his deputy and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president D K Shivakumar expected to meet the Congress chief on Sunday
