Delta Air Lines is now setting its sights on its busiest period of the year, with Thanksgiving and Christmas travel looming. CEO Ed Bastian has a positive outlook.
He said after the shutdown ended, "The system should return to normal by the weekend…and normal for us is an incredibly safe, incredibly reliable, great experience,” Ed said. “Thanksgiving is going to be a great holiday period of travel.”
However, Delta has still faced flight disruptions, including at one of its busiest airports . Delta saw issues at LaGuardia earlier in the week due to weather.
Now, with the holidays approaching, Delta is looking to minimize other issues.
