TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo City councilman John Hobbs III, who currently represents District One, has announced a partnership with Delta Hotel by Marriot - Toledo to bring support to families in need for the holiday season.

The goal of the partnership is to donate 50 turkeys and pies to District One residents, ensuring that more families in need can enjoy a warm meal during the holidays. In a press release sent out on Sunday, the Toledo city council outlined the goal of this partnership and stated that both parties are working with community organizations to make a list of families who would benefits from the donations.

The food will be distributed on at 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 24 at Delta Hotels Toledo on 3100 Glendale Ave.
