New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh made a substantial statement, setting ripple effects in Pakistan as he stated that although Sindh is not part of India today, but it will always be a part of India in terms of civilisational links and may return to India again.
Rajnath’s remark is critical as of now, when relations between both countries are tense since Operation Sindoor earlier this year.
The defence minister addressed the media at the Sindhi Samaj Sammelan event in New Delhi on November 23. He also said that “civilisationally, Sindh will always be part of India.”
“Sindh, the province that is part of Pakistan today but was a part of undivided India before 1947 and then went to Pakistan, but may return to India in the future,” Rajnath quoted.
