A Tamworth taxi driver who crossed a line with a passenger has been sentenced for sexually touching a woman without consent.
Warren Clark, 57, appeared in Tamworth Local Court where he pleaded guilty to the offence which occurred in the early hours of July 27, while he was working in South Tamworth.
Defence solicitor Rob Baillie said his client, who has driven taxis for three years, was "sorry for overstepping the mark", and just wanted the matter finalised after he was charged by Oxley police earlier this year.
Mr Baillie told the court his client had also tendered a written apology to the victim, and was concerned about how the charge would impact his work in the future.
