WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - After a busy few days in the nation’s capital, lawmakers are taking a break for Thanksgiving, with Congress out for the holiday and the U.S. Supreme Court preparing for December arguments.
The White House will host the week’s main events. On Monday, First Lady Melania Trump receives the Blue Room Christmas tree from Michigan. The delivery kicks off the annual White House holiday decorations, which will be unveiled to the public in December.
Tuesday brings the traditional presidential turkey pardon, with President Donald Trump set to spare two birds from North Carolina at the White House ceremony.
