THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Controversy after a gun was found in a passenger's luggage, but he was still allowed to travel without taking any action.

The gun was found in the luggage of an Australian national who had arrived at the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport on the 11th of this month to board a Singapore Airlines flight. The Indian national had recently acquired Australian citizenship. The airport management had engaged employees of a private company to assist the CISF, which is in charge of airport security.
