KOCHI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) looks prepared to investigate the conspiracy in the hand-chopping case of Professor T.J. Joseph. The investigation will also delve into the details of those who gave shelter and support to the accused to remain in hiding for 15 years.
Savad, a native of Perumbavoor, who chopped the hand of the Professor and threw it away on the road, was arrested after 13 years in 2024. Those who helped him during these 15 long years are yet to be identified. Apart from those who directly participated in the case, no one who took part in the conspiracy has been identified yet.
