LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Holiday deals are already popping up, and the Louisville Independent Business Alliance is encouraging you to shop local this holiday season.

They’re launching their Ho”LOU”days campaign.

The organization said local businesses help boost the economy, and they conserve energy and resources due to less fuel for transportation and less packaging.

They’re hosting an event on Shop Small Business Saturday, a nationally recognized day where people are encouraged to patronize local small businesses.

The event will play host to small businesses where you can shop for things like ornaments, jewelry and crafts.
