Yoplait brand YOP Drinkable Yogurt products in a range of flavours are being recalled from the marketplace due to the possible presence of pieces of plastic, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has announced.
The recall affects 18 products in single-serving 200 mL containers as well as packages of six, 12 and 15 200-mL containers.
The recall was issued Saturday and applies nationally. It was triggered by the company, Yoplait Canada, and there have been no reported injuries associated with consumption of these products, the CFIA says.
The recalled products should not be consumed, used, sold, served or distributed. They should be thrown out or returned to the location from which they were purchased.
The CFIA is verifying that the recalled products are being removed from the market
