Michael Scott Klein passed away on Nov. 20, 2025, in Los Angeles, Calif.

He was born to Linda (nee Zimmerman) and John Klein in Cleveland on Oct. 15, 1963. All who knew Michael thought of him as a brilliant, kind and gentle human being. In addition to being an incredible son, he was a loving brother to Joe Solo (aka Doug Klein), Debra Klein, Daniel (Pat, deceased) Klein and Steven (Maureen) Klein, a beloved uncle to Donyae, Tammy, Jesse, Jordan, Zack and Abie and great uncle to Harley.

Always a major lover of science, Michael started young by establishing a science club for his elementary friends in the loft of his parents’ garage and continued being a leader and innovator by starting Shaker Heights High School’s very first computer club.
