Quarterback Joe Flacco and wide receiver Andrei Iosivas also both exited the game with injury in the game's 4th quarter just moments before Higgins' injury. However, both returned within minutes.
The score stood at 26-20 in favor of the Patriots with one minute left to go in the game.
