BOSTON —
Bricks fell from the fourth floor of a building in Boston's North End Sunday afternoon, striking a nearby car and a portion of the building's facade.
A restaurant on the ground floor of the building, located at 262 Hanover St., was closed while inspectors from the city's Inspectional Services Department conducted an assessment.
The building was deemed stabilized, and a report was requested by ISD to determine why the bricks fell, as well as the safety of the structure.
No one was injured in the incident.
The site will continue to be monitored as an investigation is carried out.
