STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- It was exactly one year to the day that Tottenville head coach Brian Neville and his young men suffered one of the most difficult losses in school history.

At least in the eyes of Neville, who has been a player, assistant coach and now the head coach at his alma mater for the last decade.

The Pirates dropped a controversial 46-40 PSAL 4A semifinal game at rival Erasmus Hall’s Brooklyn field, on the game’s final play and to say that that moment hasn’t been on Neville’s mind for the last 365 days would be the understatement of the century.
