Billie Eilish has announced that her Hit Me Hard and Soft 3D concert movie will be released in cinemas in March 2026.
The Birds of a Feather singer revealed the news during the final concert of her Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour in San Francisco, California on Sunday night before posting the announcement on Instagram.
Eilish co-directed the concert movie with famed filmmaker James Cameron, and it will be released by Paramount Pictures on 20 March.
"HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR (LIVE IN 3D) coming to theatres on march 20th 2026 !!!!" she wrote alongside a black-and-white behind-the-scenes photo of her and Cameron looking at a monitor while sitting on a stage in Manchester, England. "This has been one of my favorite tours everrrrrr and being able to capture it and co-direct this film with @jamescameronofficial has truly been a dream come true. can't wait for you all to see it (sic)."
The Titanic and Avatar director shared the same photo on his Instagram page and added, "An honor and a blast to co-direct the 3D movie of the amazing show @billieeilish has been performing all over the world: BILLIE EILISH - HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR (LIVE IN 3D) coming to theaters March 20, 2026."
The Bad Guy singer first teased the project in July during her four-night run at Co-op Live in Manchester, where the concert movie was filmed.
"Basically, I can't say much about it, but what I can say is that I'm working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron and it's going to be in 3D," she told the crowd at the time. "So, take that as you will, and these four shows here in Manchester, you and me are part of a thing that I am making with him. He's in this audience somewhere, just saying. So don't mind that, and also I'll probably be wearing this exact outfit for like four days in a row."
Eilish kicked off the Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour, in support of her third album of the same name, in September 2024.
The 23-year-old's previous films include the 2021 concert movie, Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles, and the 2021 documentary Billie Eilish: The World's a Little Blurry.
