With temperatures suddenly plummeting, it’s officially time to put ballet flats, loafers and any other ankle-baring shoes to one side for the next few months. Keeping warm is the aim of the game throughout winter, but I’m here to tell you that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice on style.

Winter boots are my favourite new season buy – aside from a new winter coat , of course – and I’ve been quite taken by every major boot trend I’ve seen on the autumn/winter 2025 runways. But, with only limited space in the cupboard under my TV (tell me you live in a London rental , without telling me) there’s only so many pairs I can add to my collection this year. And there’s one place I’ve started my search: the supermarkets.
