Over the weekend, Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino performed at the Camp Flog Gnaw music festival in Los Angeles. During his set he revealed that the reason he canceled the bulk of his dates from The New World Tour last year was health issues.

While performing in New Orleans in September 2024, he felt pain in his head and couldn't see well. He finished the show but when he arrived in Houston for his next performance, he went to the hospital where a doctor told him that he'd had a stroke. He said they found a hole in his heart and he had to have two surgeries. He said he felt like he was letting people down when he had to cancel the remaining 40+ dates of his tour.
