RED CLOUD, Neb. (KSNB) - For the first time since a six-year-old first-grader was left alone on a school bus for more than an hour in September, Red Cloud Community Schools Board President Jeff Armstrong has spoken publicly about the district’s response to the incident and ongoing efforts to prevent similar safety lapses.
In an exclusive interview, Armstrong described the Sept. 8 incident as a “huge, very scary wake-up call” and acknowledged that “some people just didn’t do their job.”
