DETROIT — In order for the Detroit Lions to earn their overtime victory over the New York Giants, they needed a few explosive plays and running back Jahmyr Gibbs was the one to provide throughout .

Gibbs had two separate runs of 49 yards before scoring the game-winning touchdown on a 69-yard run on the first play of overtime.
