Irving Berlin could’ve been talking about Christmas in the Crescent City when he wrote the introductory lyrics to one of the world’s most favorite holiday songs. But he was actually talking about the other L.A. — Los Angeles.

While chances of a white Christmas in south Louisiana are slim — it’s snowed on Christmas only twice in the past 150 years — there’s no lack of opportunities to celebrate the season the way we celebrate all things: with food, fun, fellowship and festivities.
