Solihull councillors are continuing to push forward plans for a major parish shake up after residents backed the plans.

But concerns have been raised about how few residents have had their say on the potential changes for their area.

As the Local Democracy Reporting Service reported earlier this year Balsall Parish Council and Berkswell Parish Council make a joint request to merge as the councils said in a letter they are “intrinsically linked”.

A two month consultation then took place with 273 residents responding, 205 saying they were in favour of a merger.
