New York City’s Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani had a memorable moment with President Donald Trump last week when the two met at the White House .

If you don’t know, the 34-year-old future Mayor was asked if he thinks Trump is a fascist.

When he was asked that, Trump interjected and said, “That’s OK, you can just say it. It’s easier, it’s easier than explaining it.” Mamdani seemed to then agree.

On Meet the Press over the weekend, he was asked about that moment, and he re-confirmed that he said “yes.”
