The Williston Coyotes boys hockey team got their season started Saturday afternoon at the Williston Agri-Sports Complex. It was a defensive battle that was scoreless after two periods, but the Jamestown Blue Jays woke up in the third, netting three goals to take down the Coyotes 3-0.

After over 45 minutes of action without a score, it was the Blue Jays’ Parker Roelfsema who got the scoring started. Coyote netminder Colin Schipferling exited his crease break up a leak-out and to play a puck rolling into the Coyote zone; the goaltender partially fanned on the stretch pass, sending it directly to the waiting stick of Roelfsema who passed the puck into the vacated net to open the scoring, 1-0. kA 5:ClQ=ECQmyFDE 2 76H >:?FE6D =2E6C[ E96 r@J@E6D 5C6H 2 A6?2=EJ 2?5 62C?65 2 492?46 E@ 6G6?
