Last year’s Coronado Islanders girls’ basketball team was one of the most successful in recent program history. The Lady Islanders finished last season with a record of 17-4 and earned the top seed in the CIF DV playoff bracket.
Returning many key starters from last season, Coronado is hopeful to build on last season’s success and continue to push the program in the right direction.
Thanks to last season’s success, more players have begun to migrate to the program. This season, the girls’ basketball program will have the full JV team. It’s the first year the program has carried a complete JV team since 2018.
