HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Ritter Park in Huntington.
On Monday night, the lighting of the Christmas tree welcomed the holiday spirit, and there are some new light displays this season.
Santa himself even stopped by to join in with the community’s fun.
“It is a great time of the year,” said Kathy McKenna, executive director of the Greater Huntington Park and Recreation District. “It’s also a stressful time of year for a lot of people, a lot of stuff going on, a lot of things that happen, but we’re excited and nervous because Christmas is just around the corner.”
The annual event is hosted by the Greater Huntington Park and Recreation District.
