Ready to do some holiday shopping? Several area businesses and local governments will host vendor markets in November and December.

Here is a look at some of those markets, Small Business Saturday, and locally owned gift shops in Gaston County.

Vendor markets • Bessemer City’s Holiday Gift Market will take place from noon-4 p.m. at the Allan Farris Community Center, 220 S. 14th St. • Cramerton will host more than 40 vendors at its Holiday Bazaar taking place from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Dec. 13. • The Rooster, located at 334 W. Main Ave. in Gastonia, will host a Misfit Holiday Market from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 6. • Muddy River Distillery’s holiday market will take place from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 6 at 250 N.
