FRANKLIN, Ind. — Police confirmed to 13News that an IMPD officer shot a man in Franklin Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened around 1:45 p.m. Nov. 25 in the 1200 block of Mitsubishi Parkway , near Interstate 65 and State Road 44.
Police say they were looking for a man wanted on a warrant for domestic battery in the presence of a child, strangulation, criminal confinement, intimidation and firearm-related charges. He was also a person of interest in a "recent homicide in Indianapolis."
A video sent by a viewer showed a large number of officers around the cab of a semi truck in the parking lot where the shooting happened in Franklin. The video appears to show multiple officers firing. 13News is not sharing the video due to its graphic content.
