Robert Squire decided to become a lawyer because he wanted to understand how the world works and then use that knowledge to help others.
“I still believe that a legal career can have a significant impact on people’s lives, regardless of the practice area,” he said. “Respecting the rule of law and practicing with integrity benefits everyone.”
After graduating with his Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law, Squire was a deputy public defender for two years. In 2011, he joined D.L. Evans Bank, where he still works today, supervising outside legal counsel, mitigating litigation, negotiating and drafting contracts and other documents, and providing all departments with legal advice.
