LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) — A former Nebraska Sports Council administrator plead down on Tuesday in an embezzlement case.

According to court documents, 43-year-old Jessica Framke plead no contest to theft between $500 to $1,500 by unlawful taking. Framke had been previously charged with theft of over $5,000 by unlawful taking.

Her sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 20, 2026.

Lincoln Police said Framke turned herself into authorities on May 1. Framke, who previously served as the director of administration for the Nebraska Sports Council, is accused of embezzling more than $46,000 from the organization.
