TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - With Thanksgiving just a few days away, many are flocking to a Tallahassee staple, the Tasty Pastry Bakery, to take care of the real star of the holiday table - the pies.

Inside the bakery, the ovens are cranked, the counters are covered, and the air smells like delicious homemade pies — something die-hard customers say they can’t do without.

Mark Cross is one of the owners of this family-owned business. His parents opened the Tallahassee bakery in 1963.

He said this time of the year, when it comes to churning out fresh, delicious homemade pies, it’s all hands on deck.
