A worker died after insufficient company safety policies led to injuries at Taylor Farms ' Swedesboro, New Jersey, vegetable processing facility, according to the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

The worker was fatally injured while cleaning a machine at the facility, a U.S. Department of Labor news release said.

Following a May inspection, Taylor Farms is facing an over $1 million fine from OSHA.
