On Tuesday morning, the NFL announced that it would be reviewing a postgame altercation between Carolina Panthers safety Tre'von Moehrig and San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings. Hours later, the league announced it's decision on Moehrig's punishment.
On first glance, it appeared as if Jennings was the aggressor in the postgame brawl , hitting Moehrig in the face two times before players from both teams stepped in to break up the fight.
However, a video surfaced after the game showing why Jennings sought out Moehrig after the game.
Late in the fourth quarter, Moehrig appeared to punch Jennings below the belt . Jennings later revealed to reporters after the incident that this was the reason he decided to go after Moehrig when the game was over.
