After three years, Gigantic Brewing is closing its pub at 4343 S.E. Hawthorne Blvd.
Ownership confirmed the closure to the Business Journal Tuesday afternoon after a "For Sale" sign was posted on the outside of the building earlier this week.
The Hawthorne pub, formerly the Hawthorne Fish Market space, opened in 2022 . The location is 1,800 square feet and included a kitchen, a first for Gigantic locations, preparing international pub food and outdoor patios as well as 14 to 20 taps.
Gigantic was founded in 2012 by brewmaster Ben Love. His brewing career began in 2003 in Wisconsin at the Adler Brau Brewpub before returning to Oregon in 2004 to brew at Pelican in Pacifi
