A head-on collision on Stevens Pass has forced alternating traffic after a brief closure of U.S. 2 near Stevens Pass.

What Led to the Stevens Pass Crash

Weber said that the highway should fully reopen by 5 p.m., but added that this is the time of year to drive the conditions, not the road.

"It's hit us, and we need to drive appropriately," Weber said. "Keep our eyes far in front of us and don't follow too closely."
