GLADBROOK, Iowa — A bond measure in the Gladbrook-Reinbeck School District will take effect after withstanding a recount.
The recount was conducted in Tama, Grundy, Black Hawk, and Marshall counties. The original bond referendum passed by 17 votes, prompting the recount.
Each county confirmed the initial results reported on election night.
The school district plans to use the bond to add new classroom space to the junior and senior high school in Reinbeck.
